VancouverWalkInClinics.com is an independent directory of walk-in clinics, urgent and primary care centres, community health clinics and emergency departments inside the City of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Why this site exists

Finding same-day care in Vancouver is harder than it should be. Clinic listings are scattered across health authority pages, booking platforms and stale business directories, and half of them still list clinics that closed years ago. People searching at 8 p.m. with a sick child do not want a login screen or a marketing funnel — they want an address, a phone number and an honest statement of whether the door will be open.

That is all this site tries to be: a clean, fast, ad-light list you can read on a phone with one bar of signal.

Where the information comes from

Listings are compiled from publicly available sources, including Vancouver Coastal Health location pages, HealthLink BC, provincial clinic directories, published booking platforms and the clinics' own public listings. Each entry records the clinic name, street address, postal code, published phone number, neighbourhood and the type of care offered.

What we deliberately do not publish

We do not publish opening hours we cannot verify. Walk-in clinic hours in Vancouver change constantly — a physician goes on leave, a clinic drops its Saturday session, a location caps registration at noon. Publishing an invented schedule sends someone across the city for nothing, so where a clinic's hours are not confirmed, the listing says so and asks you to phone.

We also do not publish star ratings, review counts or wait-time estimates for individual clinics. Those numbers are easy to fabricate and hard to keep honest, and a two-year-old review tells you nothing about today's queue.

Independence

This directory is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Vancouver Coastal Health, the BC Ministry of Health, HealthLink BC, or any clinic listed on the site. Clinics cannot pay to be listed, to rank higher, or to have a listing removed for reasons other than factual inaccuracy.

Corrections

If you work at a listed clinic, or you turned up somewhere and found the details wrong, tell us. Corrections are reviewed and applied — a directory is only as good as its last update. Use the contact page.
