Privacy policy

Short version
This is a static website. It has no accounts, no login, no comment system and no forms that transmit personal information. We do not ask for, collect or store health information of any kind.
What the site stores on your device
The site sets no tracking cookies. Filtering on the clinic list runs entirely in your browser and nothing you type into the search box is transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Server logs
Like any website, the hosting provider records standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page and browser user agent. These are used for security and to understand aggregate traffic, and are not combined with any other information to identify individuals.
Analytics
If privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics are added in the future, this section will name the provider and describe what is measured. No analytics provider is given access to health information, because the site never has any.
Third-party links
Clicking a "Directions" link opens Google Maps, and clicking a health authority link opens that organisation's site. Those services have their own privacy policies and their own tracking, over which we have no control.
If you email a correction, we keep the message long enough to act on it. We do not add correspondents to a mailing list, and there is no mailing list.
Children
This site is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act and Canada's PIPEDA give you rights of access and correction over personal information held about you. Because this site holds essentially none, such a request will normally be answered by confirming that we hold nothing beyond any email you have sent us. Write to hello@vancouverwalkinclinics.com.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
